Be Part of the Magic at Collin County Ballet Theatre

Dear Patrons,

On behalf of our dancers and artist we want to thank our patrons and supporters for their generous support for so many years. We are thrilled and challenged for the 2017-18 “Season of Legacy” performance season as Collin County Ballet Theatre an Honor Company of Regional Dance America Southwest will host the annual regional Festival March 2018. Over 500 dancers from 21 dance companies from around the southwest area states will convene for three day of intensive study and evening performances This wonderful festival only enhances a full season of performances that we are sure our Patron Family will enjoy.

We are also proud to announce CCBT has been awarded funding form the City of Richardson Cultural Arts Commission, Texas Commission for the Arts and Frisco Arts.

“Ballet Fete 2018” – “Nouveau Classique’’ will blend a wonderful array of original and classical with an evening a five-original works and our production of Aurora’s Wedding” form Tchaikovsky’s “Sleeping Beauty”. The evening will feature two ballets by Regional Dance America “Monticello Emerging Choreographers Award Winners, Christy Aumiller from the Northeast region and Project tier Choreography winner Julianna Jordan of the southeast region. The evening will also highlight the talents of our company dancers and resident artists

Our annual Nutcracker production will begin the Holiday Season with the Plano Symphony Orchestra performances at the Eisemann Center. We are so thrilled to have the such wonderful guest artists join the production that includes the spectacular Cuban phenomenon Carlos Quendetin & Bianca Bulle principal artists with Los Angeles Ballet Company in the title role of Sugar Plum Fairy and her Cavalier

As our association with the Plano Symphony grows we are so please to be invited by the orchestra to perform “Carmina Burana” in their Young Artists Series in March 2018

Each year Collin County Ballet Theatre continues with the presentation of a performance series that not only has traditional well known classical ballets but original choreographed works that will keep the company repertoire fresh and our patrons entertained
