Be Part of the Magic at Collin County Ballet Theatre

Dear Patrons,

On behalf of our dancers and artist we want to thank our patrons and supporters for their generous support for so many years. The 2016-17 performance season will be filled with new works and classical favorites.

Our annual “Ballet Fete” – “Au Courante de Choregraphie’’ will be an evening a six original works and two stellar classical pas de deux’s by stellar guest artists. The evening will feature two ballets by Regional Dance America “Monticello Emerging Choreographers Award Winners, Christy Aumiller from the Northeast region has created a fresh new ballet “Effervescent” and company alumni Jaclyn Sartore’s “The Nest”. One of the highlights of the evening will be the new work by the Artistic Associate of the Bruce Wood Dance Project, Albert Drake. The evening will also highlight the talents of our company dancers and resident artists and is part funded by the Texas Commission for the Arts.

Our annual Nutcracker production will top the Holiday Season with the Plano Symphony Orchestra performances at the Eisemann Center. We are so thrilled to have the spectacular Cuban phenomenon’s Adairy’s Almieda and the World Ballet Competition Gold Medalist Taras Domitro in the title role of Sugar Plum Fairy and her Cavalier

For the Spring 2017 performance we will revise the family favorite Cinderella which is funded in part by Frisco Arts season continues with our performance concert series in the historic and quaint downtown Plano Courtyard Theatre including our annual Gala fundraiser and the “Choreographers Showcase” performance.

Collin County Ballet Theatre has a much broader scope as a performing arts organization. As an, Honor Company Member of Regional Dance America, Southwest we attend a three day annual regional Festival of Dance with 25 other regional dance companies. The company dancers take daily dance classes from international master teachers and attend evening performances. Be Prepared as Collin County Ballet Theatre will be hosting the RDA,SW Festival in the spring of 2018

Each year Collin County Ballet Theatre continues with the presentation of a performance series that not only has traditional well known classical ballets but original choreographed works that will keep the company repertoire fresh and our patrons entertained
